Doubtful. Adam Schefter listed the Texans(along with Cowboys, Ravens, Bills and Dolphins) as possible teams. Make that 'logical' landing spots. Likely no better than Derrick Mason was(as said here), and we saw how that worked out. Pass.
Sure, why not give him a look in training camp? There is a small chance he could help the team. It's a low risk move.
More like CAN he? After going to the Patriots, he couldn't learn their playbook thus barely ever got onto the field. If he comes here, he has to learn another playbook...can he do that in time to help this season?
Don't forget to bring in Randy Moss as well. Can you imagine going to a 4 WR set with Moss, TO, Ochocince, and AJ. OMG.
I mean if he didnt sign with SF i would've been all for it!!! lol...Kevin Walter doesnt cut it for me as our second best option. I see Kevin as a better slot receiver than #2.
Too slow. I don't think he's not a dumb guy, but apparently for some reason had trouble learning the PAT offense. Honestly I'd rather have TO. Not that i want them to go in that direction.
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...ty-to-learn-the-offense-a-consistent-problem/ Rest assured, he wouldn't last a week with Kubiak. Honestly, coaches and GMs talk with each other - so if all that's true, Kubiak wouldn't even take the phone call. They want shut up and put in the work guys on this team, and haven't sniffed at any buy low name guys in the past.
Wow people are actually saying they would rather have Terrel Owens, a guy who just got cut from the Allen Wranglers over Ochocinco, who barely got onto the field on a team that just lost in the Super Bowl? I don't even want Ochocinco but I would gladly take him over TO. I guess people are going to be on the sign TO train until he is dead.
I think chasing TO and Moss is absurd but I felt Chad Johnson could fit here last season. I'm not sure what he has left in the tank and Kubiak likes to think that playing WR in his system is difficult (I'm calling his bluff) but I'd still like to see him have a shot here. Why not.
Guys with this kind of talent always have a little left in the tank, especially a guy like Moss... he went from having a record breaking year in NE, to being on pace for another stellar pro bowl bid, to flat out disapearing that same year after getting waived.
