O'Brien to succeed Leno at 'Tonight Show' in 2009

It should be pointed out that there is absolutely NO love lost between Conan and Stewart, they've hated each other for years. And this has nothing to do with this recent rumor (although it really doesn't help). Either NY Magazine or the New Yorker did a piece on Conan in late 2005 (I think) that briefly detailed this.

Think about it -- Stewart's been in New York for years, how many times have you seen him on Late Night?

Man, I just don't get Conan. I think his schtick gets old fast. To me, the funniest guy doing a late night talk show, by far, is Craig Ferguson. He and Jon Stewart should be the next wave at the Tonight Show and the Late Show.

Rarely am I watching TV that late, but when I do, I rarely fail to laugh out loud at his monologues. Funniest thing on TV after 10.
