Those people are frauds, and the Wall Street Journal proved it recently.

Surveys of meteorologists repeatedly find a majority oppose the alleged consensus. Only 39.5% of 1,854 American Meteorological Society members who responded to a survey in 2012 said man-made global warming is dangerous.

Perhaps it wouldn't be that way if Congress actually wanted to negotiate and work with him. And wasn't the Republican platform on beating Obama for over 3 years to use executive order to repeal Obama Care?

Granted Obama's intentions are not bad in this instance... a difficult congress is not an excuse to bypass democracy. It's actually a red flag showing there's something very wrong, and it should become a top priority of the President to fix it. A more urgent priority than, say, climate change because climate change is a long term problem.

Weather and climate are different in case you don't know.

    and thus, no surprise:

Apparently you've been suckered. If I were you, I'd be pissed as hell at the people that pulled that one over on me. I'd write to the WSJ and let them know that you don't appreciate them trying to pass off meteorologists as climatology scientists, and admit to yourself that the 97% stat is accurate.

I'm pulling for you so that next time you won't let anyone trick you again.

texxx does it suck to always be on the wrong side of history?

a new Washington Post-ABC News survey finds a huge majority of Americans support the crux of the plan — even if it will cost them personally.

Fully 63 percent of Americans say they'd support such a plan even if it raised their energy bills by $20 per month. Strikingly, 51 percent of Republicans endorse that idea, too.

    WaPo Survey:
A huge majority of Americans support regulating carbon from power plants. And they’re even willing to pay for it.

    From the article:
You can keep posting the truth but unless you can find a way to blame it on Obama, certain people just won't listen. Absolutely powerful article.

I am becoming more convinced the republican trolls of this site are actually trained members of the democratic party.

Surely the republican trolls here couldn't be this desperate, this fringe.. and so convincing AGAINST the republican party right?

It has to be some kind of act and in terms of being so wrong and so annoying it's actually quite well done. I appreciate a good clown show and at times has been almost fun.

    kudos.

Obama couldn't even get cap and trade passed when he had supermajorities in Congress, so he'll just impose it on us like a despot.

Obama will be able to do quite a bit of damage via executive decree, much of it irreparable.

His overstepping will eventually lead to shackles being placed on the regulatory state, either via legislation or constitutional amendment (state legislatures are already organizing an Article V convention to address the federal leviathan).

Major regulations will have sunset provisions or require congressional approval.

After the midterms though it's katie bar the door. He can go crazy with regulations even moreso than he is now.

I LOVE that you don't understand what is wrong about using a survey of meteorologists to try and prove that climate change science is a fraud.

I love it that Texxx hates this.

This means more jobs for Texas. Texas is the leader in clean energy.

Awww, isn't that cute, the pundits taught him a new word that he can parrot!

Look up the definition of the word "despot" and learn how Obama doesn't qualify.

This is the drilling down that I like

First you get someone saying .. . 97% of all scientist
then you find it is Climate Change Scientist [not a worse thing but a more accurate one]
Then you find that it is 97% of the papers on Climate change are Pro-Man Made

then you get someone debunking it using Meterologist
Then you find out that there is a Difference between being a Meterologist
    and a Climate Change Scientist
[Kind of like the Different between a Sociologist/Anthropologist/Historian]

I think this makes . . TO ME . . .the picture clearer
[though some use these to make it murkier]

So. I now know to set my focus on Climate Change Scientist

    I appreciate the clarification.
