Politics as usual. And before any lib lib gets their feathers ruffled; I disagree with this kind of politcal tactic from both parties.

And here is a link to Bush campaign donors. Bad, but still not on par with this past election.

These actions will probably only get worse if there is no stop to it.

I would love to see every candidate get only a specific amount of money to run for election depending on seat ran for.

That's the freedom of speech your conservative court has deemed appropriate. You can thank them for that.

    How does money equal speech?

Ambassadorships have always been political plums in the US. Outside of major countries, the job requires barely any skills; you're basically a glorified tourist traveling on the country's dime. I'm not so sure why this is all of a sudden news...

Isn't this the case in every administration? Thought this was a common, longstanding practice

    Yup. Ever since Andrew Jackson.

Obviously the original spoils system is not still in place. But the inspiration is there. Its a welcome mat for corruption.

Handing out ambassador posts to tiny countries to big campaign contributors has been going on for decades. It's nothing new but yes it is like a modern spoils system.

That's like saying you still have freedom of the press if printing presses are outlawed.

Denial of the means to exercise a right is the denial of said right.

Not sure of any corporation that isn't comprised of people.

And each of those people should have the same speech as each other person. The corporation should not have any protected speech.

    Stupid analogy and stupid slogan.

So any organization is a person because its comprised of people. Yeah, that's stupid.

    Lots of stupid here.

Old news, made to seem like shocking new news because it's Obama. Shocking.

Why should we be surprised. Boehner's congress has done nothing and will continue to do nothing for the next three years.

How's that immigration bill coming Johnny boy?
