Sounds like Manziel fits the mold. I'm dead serious.

    Does NOT sound like Manziel.

Studying the offense, calling BO'B on a Thursday night at 10pm talking about red-zone plays? Nah, Johnny ain't got time for that.

    And that ain't Manziel.

By all account Manziel practiced really hard after winning his trophy last year. He is smart and a hard worker.

This does sound like Manziel to be honest.

Smoke a little pot? Break curfew? Underage drinking? Break the speed limit?

As long as it's not too far over the line, Manziel seems willing to be a partner in the offense.

Manziel doesn't strike me as the type that has spent hours and hours of studying game tape on his own time. He seems like the kind that when he's away from football, it's not on his mind. Not that that means anything exactly, but it's the impression I get and I doubt i'm alone. He's certainly a competitor but I don't think that necessarily means he's a student of the game, or that he is overly concerned with all the nuances and details.

He reminds me a little of Favre in that he just sort of straps it up and plays...being a student of the game was never his strong suit and was a big battle for him and his coaches for a long time.

I don't see bridgewater or even Brady taking their qb coach to the club...true dedication

McNair won't stop his new coach from drafting whomever he sees fit.

That describes a lot of QBs. Just because a QB is dedicated doesn't mean they're dedicated to the level that BO'B is talking about. There are a lot of dedicated QBs in the NFL, but not many take it to the level of a Brady or Peyton Manning.

You guys posting pictures of manziel toking and chillin with the ladies are lame. He was a 20 year old coollege kid. I'm willing to bet bridgewater has toked and gotten laid before.

I don't think either of them will be distractions or be lazy in the NFL.
