Hence the problem with the proliferation of opinion segments on the 'news' today. I miss 'the news'. FWIW, in today's climate..these and similar shows (MSBNC, CNN, etc) ARE where people go to get the news. That's the problem.
Those shows are cheaply made (more oopsies from poor staffing) , highly profitable and garner higher ratings than regular news. Seems like a success story to me. Viewers have to demand more. Now that everyone and everything has a voice, these programs don't have a monopoly, but they still dominate attention...
Yes, agree to all of this. I don't blame the networks..once they decided their news organizations were profit centers this was likely to be the outcome. The problem is viewers don't demand better. If there were a good news source out there, I would watch it.
I actually think they took Bill Clinton playbook and ran with it and perfected it, its especially funny because of how much they despise him.
