You might be right, but then someone can just mentioned how he looked against the Rockets and Nuggets. One team that is known for its intensity on defense, while another one can be very aggressive and physical. But both of those series, should've been over with much faster than what they were. Bynum and he were getting taken out of a couple games or being outplayed by the likes of Chuck Hayes, Luis Scola, Carl Landry, Nene, Birdman, and Kenyon Martin. While, the guards having field day in the paint, remember Aaron Brooks getting in the paint at will and being untouched. Remember, Yao, not having a much of a challenge in the 1st game. The only way he could be stopped is by an injury or bias refs.

Then, I say they finally when a title, then you see the Christmas Day game, the Lakers bigs are matched up against Shaq and Big Z and basically get dominated from very physical play and in your face defense. Those two cannot be overwhelm physical frontline that's just as big and skilled, which is why they are lucky there aren't very many big teams in the league (lucky being playing in such weak era of big men).

Pau Gasol is as soft as they come... 80's basketball and one Charles Oakley elbow would have him running for the hills of Madrid...
