Knicks trying to unload Amare in this deal - not going to happen.

 

I would imagine so. Amar'e is basically untradeable, and Shump is a utility player at best.

Rondo's not going to the Knicks, because aside from Shumpert they have no quality young pieces to trade to the Celtics.

 

I am pretty sure Boston wants to get rid of some of there bad contracts on the books to free up cap space. So they would send two or three players w/ longer salaries to NY for Amare and Shump. Boston gets a young player and only have to pay Amare for one year. Ainge also has a history of being high on Amare. But obviously Amare has fallen off lately.

 

Do you guys think Harden has been assisting a lot lately and especially dishing it to Lin because he doesn't want Rondo coming here taking his b-ball?

He finally realized how much he under-appreciated Lin after all this time.

 

If it's Asik + Beverly for Rondo - maybe.

Rondo is frequently injured, has a chronic knee situation, not getting any younger, won't score when we hit scoring droughts, needs the ball to be effective.

Does he really fit on this team with Harden, Howard, Lin, PF, Parsons?

 

Why are y'all talking about his knee? Look what Derrick Rose just did coming back from his ACL tear. I would take Derrick Rose in a heartbeat right now. Who gives a damn if he tore his ACL? Rondo will be just fine when he comes back. If your argument is that he won't fit the team than that is fine but stop saying he is going to be a horrible player just because he tore his ACL.

 

asik is worth alot more than shump. do the knicks really want rondo? he needs the ball just as much as melo. asik to the celts would be a steal for them.

 

The absolute last thing we need is a guy with an even bigger ego than Harden.

Rondo would blow this team up.

Think about this for a second....
If you put Rondo on this team with Harden and Parsons, they can do a lot of the things that Pierce and Allen did with him. Granted we don't have a Garnett on this team but Perkins and Rondo worked together so I don't see why Rondo and Howard can't work.

 

Are you trolling, or just plain paranoid? Seriously, where do you get these insane conspiracy theories from?

Harden is thinking of a potential Rondo trade? And that's why he's passing to Lin?

Maybe he's passing to Lin because Lin is scoring with good efficiency? MAYBE he is passing to Lin because Harden is MATURING as a player, knows that unlike last season he has less to prove in terms of his individual numbers, and is trying to play a more well rounded, team game?

It's people like you that give Lin supporters a bad name.

This has been confirmed as true. If it is, I'm not sure we want to trade for him. Let him play till the ASB at least to see if he's recovered fully.

As for Rondo, most celtic fans are interested in Asik + Lin cuz they think they are scrubs, so there you go.

They're shopping Shump like he's some elite player? That's nuts. The only thing about him that stands out these days is his hairstyle.

 

With the way Lin has been playing so far this season, can you really blame them?

 

Why would they want to get Amare to get rid of bad contracts? Even if Amare only has 1 year left on his contract but that's still like 20mill for a D-leaguer or worse.

 

Knicks fans are screaming blue murder at Dolan right now for selling Lin and buying Felton.

Because Felton was as good as Lin but cheaper.

In fairness to Felton he was OKAY for parts of last season, but he seems to have regressed big time. He's overweight (again) and chucking like he needs to build Bowser's new castle before Mario shows up to bring it down again.
