Ughhh...I just threw up on my computer screen...Just say NO to Phillip the yoga, herb smoking, double crossing punkass. He wants $10+ million a year, JVG is already getting $5 mil for next season and another $5 mil for the season after that. No way Les pays JVG $5 mil to walk away and then pay phillip $10+ mil/year. JVG has grown on me alot and has a done a superb job.

Of all the coaches that are being mentioned for jobs around the league, why isn't Mo Cheeks getting more run...The guy seems like a solid coach and a high character guy.

I know, I think the same way... I think he could land with the Magic if ERIC MUSSELMAN takes a job with another team...

I want Phil Jackson as coach too. It's all about the rings and I think he's our best shot.

Van Gundy has earned at least one more season with the Rockets. If they don't at least make the 2nd round next year, THEN start the Phillip chants.

Well if the Rockets do want to go after Phil, they would have to get him now because he will be coaching a team next season.

That being said, I love JVG and I don't want him going anywhere this offseason.

The usual suspect vultures at work again

They will never change their color and will like everyone here to believe they are for the Rockets good rather this is just another attempt to promote their drivel. Yuck.

Look here and you will see the trend they have left behind. No shame at all....

If Phil Jackson wants the job now, it should be his.

Assuming nothing happens in the interim, this would be JVGs make or break year. No way he goes into the final year of his contract "as-is."

A championship caliber head coach is what is good for the Rockets.

I'll stick with the VG man for at least next year.

If it goes to hell, I'll jump on the PJ bandwangon.

Obviously, a guy with 6 championships under his belt is enticing. I suppose if they did fire JVG and hire Jackson I'd be more intrigued than I would be disappointed, but I just can't actually want it to happen. I like JVG. The players seem to like JVG. They've just become accostumed to his system. Poor Yao has barely had a chance for ANY stability since being here. I'm kind of thinking it's about time we need to settle down and trying to keep as much of this core together as we can. Sure, tweak the roster as needs, but I don't think there should be too many more radical changes.

Wanting Phil Jackson is like saying Houston should be like the Yankees and get whomever it takes to win no matter who they are.

What makes Houston sports team awesome is there is a level of class...that they don't sell out. That they go for character as well....

    Let's keep it that way.

JVG is a great coach. I like him, but he does not seem to have the LUCK yet while Phil or Phil's team always had the luck.

    1. J. Howard got sick after injury, how bizarre is that. With Howard, even we lose, at least we know where we are not, now we are not sure if Howard is enough.

    2. Horry's shot against Kings

    3. Fisher's shot against Spurs.

    4. Referees always like Phil's team.
