wait, if we're #2 in passes deflected who is #1? does this stat include the tipped passes at line of scrimmage or just CB deflections?
What are our red zone stats? iirc, that's always been a weakness of ours. Correct. PDs include all safety, corner, DE, LB pass deflections.
Some additional numbers not mentioned: Offense: #1 in time of possession (35:22) #4 in red zone scoring (#4 in TD-only red zone scoring) Defense: #1 in rushing TDs allowed (0) #2 in 3rd down conversions (trailing the Bears, who play tonight - could be #1 tomorrow morning) t-#2 in yards per play #5 in red zone scoring (#6 in TD-only red zone scoring)
This is why I didn't really understand all the panic in the "2nd year under Wade" thread after the GB game. As good as the defense played last year, this year's version is playing just as good, if not better.
And yesterday's game was the first time an offense that was supposed to be really good was stopped by the Texan's defense.
only tate fumbled out of all the RBs. foster doin a good job protecting the ball (hope i didn't jinx it )
