Probably, other wise he is not getting traded. My guess is its posturing. Doing or saying anything they can to drive the price up. Certainly this would include a place they can come down from in order to give the appearance of compromise later. Denver's bluff seems pretty transparent to me.
I said back in the offseason that if they go the McHale "wait till the last possible moment cause we're in the drivers seat" trading strategy, they'd end up where McHale did....i.e. with Sebastian Telfair instead of Rajon Rondo. Looks like Ujiri disagreed....
