Look at this guy's history. You think Morey and McHale are going to invest into another Royce White situation?? Yall must not think Morey learns from his mistakes.
Lawson can't fly on planes? Rockets are not the Texans. They've had their fair share of troubled players. Remember when Lowry 'assaulted' that female referee in the offseason? Rafer Alston had a DUI, Jordan Hill assaulted his girlfriend, here are more: http://nbacrimelibrary.com/category/1-franchise/houston-rockets/
On the other hand, Lowry, Alston, and Hill were all traded less than a year after each of these incidents. Maybe the Rockets are not as tolerant of off-court issues as you think.
Yeah, this is probably it. Denver is trying to get someone back to the table. The reality is that just relieving themselves of his contract is worth more to the Nuggets than just waiving him.
Lawson makes 12M, that's a far cry from the 2M we gave Josh Smith. Lawson right now is probably unstable, he wasn't a malcontent or had such a rep during his early years in Denver in fact he seemed like a true franchise cornerstone. While I do like Lawson in a vacuum I don't think he's very productive in his current state, perhaps he needs to see professional help and some time off to sort things out. Considering the Rox right now are on the cusp of contention I don't think it's a good idea to bring in people who might turn out to be cancerous later on, chemistry right now is very important and you don't want to bring in someone who will destroy the team from the inside ala Rondo.
There is interest now that the money may be...wiped out. Word says he lands in Sac very shortly to smooth over GK.
Man, if Sacramento gets Lawson that will be a popcorn worthy team. Rondo, Lawson, Cousins, Gay... So glorious.
I guess uber isn't everywhere yet. It's too cheap and easy to take uber over risking the roads. Hell, rent a limo every night you go out. It's not like you're broke like my ***.
Lawson just looking to save some money rather than taking uber. I'do the same thing in the same situation
