" Bigger Frame: During a press conference shortly after the NBA Draft, Rockets general manager Carroll Dawson said rookie Steve Novak would be spending a lot of time with the strength and conditioning coaches to bulk up.

    He wasn't kidding.

Novak has bulked up to 231 pounds since arriving in Houston.

"I've gained 10 to 11 pounds since I got here in July," Novak said. "I've gotten to know (strength and conditioning coach David) Macha really well. He's even told me what shakes to drink when I get home." "

I'm very very excited about him :D

That's good he's bulking up. I just hope the extra mass he gains doesn't mess up his shooting touch.

I just hope Steve Novak isn't our next Bostjan Nachbar.
Everybody was praising him on being such a sweet shooter... but he jobbed it up, hardcore.

I forgot that Boki was drafted that high. I hope Novak is better than Boki but he won't get enough playing time to prove it this year.

There aren't any clear pictures of him from Media Day, are there? The only two I see are of his face and of the back of his jersey. I'd like to see for myself just how much progress he's made.

NO I CAN'T JUST WAIT FOR THE OPEN PRACTICE!!! :D
