Mr. Alexander has set up an Indiegogo account to help recoup the loss of DaDakota's money. Please donate and let Les know it's Christmastime again.
Damn bro...you the one that got McHale fired...because of this letter. Sales guy to Les: "Mr. Alexander...we are losing DaDa!!!" Les: "OMG!!...Murry!...Quench "the Official Fire McHale" thread and get rid of Kevin!! We cant lose DaDa!!!!"
I agree this season is very tough to watch. I think I enjoyed the pre-Harden non-playoff teams more than this. At least those teams played with effort, and you could always root for them as an underdog against the Spurs or the Mavs. The problem is I only like the Rockets, so I really have nowhere else to go, but I do find myself turning off the games when I can't take it anymore.
It would be hilarious if Les replied with: "Well you're in luck... because we've decided to ban you from attending any Houston Rockets sporting events for life. You won't ever have to spend another nickel and/or dime on this team. If the team never turns around and does better you won't have to suffer through it in person. You can watch from home. You're welcome."
Can't agree, DD. Not original, but here's my reply: Never give up, never surrender! Yeah, I'm angry and bummed out by how the season has played out thus far. I feel your pain. However, this is my one sports passion. I used to feel that way about the Oilers and the Astros, both being teams I followed and attended games from the time they burst into existence. Now the Oilers are gone, the Texans aren't the same, at least not for me, and the Astros left the league that plays baseball like God intended so the new owner could line his pockets. I can't get into them - either team. Maybe someday. Until then, it's the Rockets, come hell or high water. Nickle and dime me to death, Les! ;-)-
It's time to get over that. Took me a while, but I'm ok with it now. You will be too if you just give them a chance.
I feel for DD, he could have spend his money on Lamborginis or trips to Monte Carlo, but he chose the Rockets His standards are Hakeem Olajuwon, coincidentally he is at Hakeem Status The Rockets this year are not playing at Hakeem status levels
I see nothing wrong with Dakota's position and this coming from a guy that thought he was borderline insane a few years ago.
