I actually just opened some 12 month aged Gouda (now 23 months) from when I was in the Netherlands. See how this goes.
Any love for Cotswold? Tallegio? And I should have voted Manchego in the poll. Those are a few of my favorite things.
There is AWESOME cheese in the Netherlands. Hard to pick just one cheese. I'm not going to try, but I do really like Mimolette.
Some pretty awesome chicks, as well. A lot of them must like cheese, because there are these great cheese shops everywhere. It’s fun to buy some cheese and just walk around, munching on it and looking at the Dutch girls. My significant other puts up with it, but she’s half Dutch and has relatives all over the place. I’m a lucky guy. Actually, it’s best to buy some cheese and walk around looking at the beautiful Dutch girls outside of Amsterdam, since the city is getting overwhelmed with tourists. Yeah, I’ve been guilty of that several times, but I’ve also traveled to other parts of the country over the years. Highly recommended! Cheese, chicks, and tulips. What a country!
Casu Marzu. You're welcome. https://www.foodworldnews.com/artic...is-the-most-dangerous-cheese-in-the-world.htm
