This video is like something from the comedy classic Four Lions. If you watch the crowd's reactions to the speakers questions, you notice that everyone is looking around at each other before raising their hand. No one wants to look odd and not raise their hand to however absurd his questions might be. It is just peer pressure and trying to maintain Muslim street cred.

 

There is no such thing as "moderate" Muslims. There are secular Muslims and Muslims. Most Muslims you see walking around in the U.S. are secular Muslims.

 

That is ****ed. They should be deported from Norway.

 

The thing is, even people who hold extremist viewpoints such as adeelsiddiqui, Hydhypedplaya and trustme would probably regard themselves as "moderate" Muslims. With Muslims like ISIS, Boko Haram and the Taliban, the goalposts get moved so much that everyone who is not actively murdering someone with their own hands in the name of Islam is "moderate" compared to them. It's ridiculous that Western governments put their hopes in "moderate" Taliban. That's like saying the West should have negotiated with "moderate Nazis".

 

This is so f'd up. Europe has such a problem with their Muslim immigrants. Europe was trying to be kind by letting "refugees" and "asylum seekers" into their countries, then they end up with this garbage. What's worse is that their social entitlement programs are probably funding these losers.

 

If Stoning is against the laws of the country, they should ship anyone that breaks the law and is a foreigner, back to their country of origin....

The way he worded the question was interesting IMO. It was set up to say "either raise your hand or you are a bad muslim/non-believer/blasphemer". Would love to see that question flipped and posed to another religious sect.

I'm willing to bet that, if congregated at a religious event, surrounded by their religious peers... a lot of "moderate" religious folks would probably raise their hands there.

There's also the psychological phenomenon at play here whereas no one is a self-identified radical. Most lunatic fringe really do think they are the moderate, common denominator.

 

After watching the video: If you didn't know better, you'd think this was Ali G up there - but this guy actually believes this bullcrap, and so does everyone else in the room and so do many, many Sunni Muslims. fchowd0311 is right - there are secular Muslims who basically were born into that religion, but don't follow all the BS rules and don't really hold the intolerant beliefs, and there are a lot - like in that room - who believe in all that crap. That's also why you don't really hear much honest anger about ISIS, Boko Haram and the Taliban - they prefer to get angry about Israel. Mohammed already had Jews beheaded. ISIS just does what Mohammed did.

 

I'm willing to bet against that.

 

Atw you seem to be so little informed as usual .stonning is a law that can't be excuted 99.9% of the times...

You need 4 adult witness telling an exact story with all details , on the top of that a convention . So unless a person want to be really stonned , he /she can get away with it.

As the Pew polls show, the guy is not lying. This is what "normal Sunni Muslims" believe - hundreds of millions of them, which is the scary part.
