I would be insulted if any Christians took advantage of this deal. It seems contrary to the Christian idea of prayer.

That would be an interesting case to see if that violated equal protection and public accommodation.

As far as the main issue I'm with everyone else this is a non-issue. I've eaten at places with pictures of Jesus and Crucifixs on the walls, places with Qu'ran verses on the walls, places with pictures of Krishna on the walls, and many many places with the God of Fortune (fat Buddha) and dragons with pearls in their mouths. As long as the food and service are good I don't mind what they have on the walls.

Should have passively aggressively subtweeted bible verses. :(

I find ostentative praying in public annoying (no matter which religion). I believe it was actually discouraged by Jesus, but whatever.

If it is a conversation between you and God, no need to force others to listen in.

Otherwise, I suspect you are just trying to show off how pious you want to be regarded as, which makes me think you aren't really at all.

So, in summary, I don't give a crap about what that restaurant does for publicity, but I would add a 15 % surcharge if someone publicly prayed in my restaurant.

I'm outraged because I never get a discount when I go to Taco Bell and pray for no diarrhea before I eat.

Except that praying before a meal (i.e. saying Grace) is a fairly common practice.

I think you've mixed your metaphors, not sure those cats were translating Aeneid or losing a letter grade for mixing dative and vocative.

No idea what the hell you are saying, sorry. Just talking about speaking in tongues and handling snakes, cuz that's how I pray. Feel free to substitute Hmong for Latin if that makes it easier for you.

Feel free to substitute tongues for Latin, if you want to actually say what you mean.

I don't think praying before a meal is wrong at all. I think it is wrong to do for monetary gain.

Does it have to be a Abrahamic religion related prayer or can it be anything? Can I pray to Chef Ramsey, Steve Jobs or the Buddha to get the discount or what's the deal?
