If Bosh wouldn't have backed out at the last minute that is exactly what you would have. Morey has nothing to do with it, in fact, it was his "Plan A". You are currently looking at "Plan B"

Those saying that shouldn't have been called out of bounds... you're joking, right?

Not surprised it happened in Target Center. That is a building that has seen a lot of stupid plays. Apparently T-Wolves stupidity is contagious.

Why is this dumb play here? Doesn't it belong to the Dish?

It is disgusting to watch such pathetic plays in the GARM which is dedicated to a true championship contender, HOUSTON ROCKETS

I guess this is supposed to make us feel better about letting Hassan slip through our fingers...

    Sorry. I don't feel better.

It's absolutely out of bounds. What is apparent is Cole didn't consider his initial pass to Whiteside as putting the ball in play but was trying to speed up the inbounds process. It would be like if a player thought the ball wasn't in play and tried to give it to the ref to prepare for inbounds before anything actually happens on the court.

Glad the rule is consistent. But the ref could have let that one slide.

Dear god, that wasn't just during the game, that was in crunch time. That is next level of stupid.

No because he could have given the ball to Whiteside if he just left the ball out of bounds. But he passed it to him in bounds.

And it's not like giving the ball to a ref because the ref only touches the ball when the play is dead. After a made basket it's a live ball and the ref doesn't touch it. So if you pass it in, it's live.

The clock started once he passed it in, the ref was counting, etc.

That was the right call and it's not a call a referee can let slide.

You forgot just one, tiny, small detail about that part.

The current MVP of the league. James Harden.

I'm pretty happy with the way our team has turned out especially when we consider that we still have some flexibility to add another piece or two at the deadline or next offseason if we need to. Hindsight is always 20/20, and in hindsight I am glad that it didn't work out the way Morey was planning. But as bad as Miami has been this year, Bosh has still been playing pretty well. A starting lineup of Beverley, Harden, Parsons, Bosh and Howard still would have been incredibly formidable.

I don't think Nole thought he was inbounding the ball - rather kicking it over to Whiteside so he could inbound. Whiteside was confused and instead of going behind the line to inbound it he passed it back to Cole. Cole didn't think it was inbounded so he told him to step over the line.

I guess the question is - what counts as an inbound?

Was there a possibility of having Dwight and Bosh? Honest question.

Wade has missed 15 games. I'm not too surprised that they have struggled with this being the case. Lebron carried them almost like his old Cavs teams last year.

And the T-Wolves win by one. If I was Spoelstra, I'd just take a few weeks to relax in The Bahamas after seeing that.

I can see why that miscommunication and unawareness resulted in the turnover. It is, technically, the correct call.

WTF? It's pretty obvious that picking up a ball after a made basket, while you are completely out of bounds, and throwing it to a player who is clearly in bounds counts as an inbound.

I thought that video would be the dumbest thing I would see today, but the responses defending it proved me wrong.

I hope at least some of you guys are trying to be ironic.
