I like Snell a lot, super underrated 3 and D guy off the bench. Re-up Nene and snag Collison. Collison, Gordon, Snell, Nene as a bench rotation I like a lot.
Bogut can go suck rocks. Unless we end up trading Capela for a star and we need a center. Then he's warmly welcome here.
Patterson is similar to Battier as a no-stats all star type. He actually ended up 16th in the league in total RAPM because he does all those little things that are needed, especially defensively. He doesn't "move the needle" like a flashier add, or a star add, but he'd be a solid get.
Basically start here: Search all articles written between yesterday and when the Warriors won the championship about "Veterans / Free Agents Cavaliers Should Sign" All those potential veteran minimum guys apply to us now too.
Unlikely but if we nailed the down PF spot without using the MLE, I'd offer it to George Hill and try to sell him on winning and prolonging his career.
huh? George Hill the pg that is about to get paid roughly $30 mil per is going to take MLE? who also turned down an extension raise from utah a couple months ago
no idea what that has to do with anything here. and someone with a career % of mid 60% isn't exactly someone who can't shoot ft's. roberson can't shoot at all. ft's, jumpers, 3 pters take your pick
Don't get the hate for Swaggy P. For a scoring punch he could help a lot, plus his defense really wasn't bad last year. And I expect he'll be cheap. We could use Bogut too at the minimum. Add those two guys and bring back Nene and we're suddenly deep.
Go look at Webber's FT% for his career. He was a 50% FT shooter for seasons 1-6; he shot 73% in seasons 7-13. Because he, himself, said he was tired of being a poor FT shooter, so he practiced them all summer. Roberson doesn't need to shoot 40%. 33% is more than doable.
I just posted what his career FT% was. not sure what you're even trying to argue about bottom line is roberson still sucks. it's actually just terrible how bad he is
