Ok.. I even PMed Izak and asked him to vote, but he's probably watching Aussies play football right now. Yung-T vs. FTW Rockets FTW 4-3 thething vs. Dfb 4-1
Yung T PG - Isaiah Thomas SG - Kerry Kittles SF - Nicolas Batum PF- Thaddeus Young C - DeMarcus Cousins Bench: Jason Richardson, Robert Horry, John Henson vs. thething PG: Ty Lawson SG: Cuttino Mobley SF: Richard Jefferson PF: Kenneth Faried C: Marcus Camby Bench: Damon Stoudamire, JJ Redick, PJ Brown
Well, there goes Australia. I'm waiting for US game. They probably won't get out of the group but I'm going to root for them.
Bro calm ya t*tties. Not a draft of superstars. I'm not gonna sit here and analze for hours who's gonna win. All of these matches could go either way. Look at the spurs/heat Mavs/heat. Look at all those teams who never won. Just sayiing bcuz it isn't necessary to overanalyze and argue. If anything you could require in the next draft nominate two voters: i.e izakdavid and ??? to do all the voting. Just don't see why some of y'all take this way too serious when it's just for fun! Loosen up brah!
Prime PJ Brown>>John Henson JJ Redick>Veteran Robert Horry Damon Stoudamire<Jason Richardson Richardson is arguably the best bench player of the two rosters but I don't think he has an edge there.
jrich >> Damon Horry > reddick IMO. Horry must've done something right to own all those rings. Whether he was clutch he was a stud at hitting "the shot" they called him big shot rob for a reason. Reddick can't dribble. His 3 ball is superb. Dude is a catch and shoot. Horry just did all the right things and plus why are u comparing individuals I never got that. Team chemistry and ball movement plus scoring should influence more votes. Sorry guys I just don't think like some of you so deal with it.
I'll take Yung-T. A tough call, though. Yung-T has two good wing defenders that will help here, but he also lacks rim protection. It's tough to face Lawson, Cuttino and Jefferson without great rim protection. And IMO thething has a slight talent advantage. Still, I think the biggest mismatch here is in Yung-T's favor, Cousins vs. Camby, I don't think Camby will do a good job. Also, IMO thething's offense will underachieve a little compared to its talent level because of some chemistry issues. That team needs its perimeter players to get inside a lot, but both starting bigs are subpar shooters, so it's going to get a bit clogged. Besides, Cuttino and Camby will take some bad shots simply because they are Cuttino and Camby. Anyway, thething will have amazing transition offense, and he has a lot of talent. It will be a fun close series, but I'll go with Yung-T.
Oh, thething had 4 points already. We are done then. thething vs. Yung-T 4-1 Congrats thething! <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/04854XqcfCY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Congrats man who knew you'd be the next champ! All these newbies man coming in here tearin **** up brah. All of us seasoned vets can't seem to pull out a V anymore.
This has always been my biggest gripe here. In my opinion, best offense is awarded to the team with more individual ppg by most voters, I never hear anything about ball movement, chemistry or how the offense would work, all I hear is "I have more scorers/more talent" and things like that. I'm okay with thing winning, but just saying in general. Same with Spooner saying this is not even close, makes no sense when really evaluating the teams and taking everything into account.
