    This. IIRC, it was a flesh wound.... He deserves props for getting back out around town shortly after, and not so much for getting back on the court.

    DWill's years in NJ has really made me sour on him. Before I thought he was just slightly below CP3. Now I think they're on different levels.

    As for Landry, I don't know why Monty even bother. He should've read the fine print from upstairs that they just want tank. All so Stern can hand them Anthony Davis without raising an eyebrow. It seems that entire team is probably just pissed knowing that they're forced to tank.

    This is why a system that forces team to suck is just a horrible system.

    Exactly.

    While the team is built to tank, it is still the job of the coach (as well as players) to win games. The coach has his reputation on the line (if he has the worst team in the league, there is a good chance he gets fired and that worst team in the league does not look good on his resume in terms of future jobs).
