In fact, we got worse today and worse for the future. Is there anyone that can talk me off the ledge?

Memphis got a lotto to mid teens pic in the 2016 draft?

We got an asset for this offseason we otherwise wouldn't have while losing a player that didn't play and weren't going to resign

They got no better, no worse.

The potential upside is a little higher... you never know with a lotto pick who you might get, or can trade to. Bear in mind, Kobe was a #13 pick. Paul Pierce was a late pick. Paul George was a teens pick. There's value in that range.

Astros season starts in 6 weeks and 4 days. Is that good enough?

Noep. It got a much better pick after LAC has fallen off a cliff in a couple of years.

Same as Boston's 2018 pick and Phillys Sac 2018 pick are MUCH more valuable than our Detroit 2016pick.

That's the whole point of getting rid of Dwight... if Dwight opts in next year, then even we would consider holding onto him.

I don't know why you guys are surprised.

Dwight wasn't ever going anywere unless the Atlanta deal for Teague+Horford or with the cavs for Love.

The rockets still want to make the playoffs and with the dmo trade they basically get a lottery pick even if there a 1st round out to the Warriors or Spurs.

Miss the playoffs which I get is likely even though I don't see it happening and the rockets are sitting with two picks ranging from picks 10-16 that's pretty nice package for a team with harden and Howard already on the roster.

Dwight trade talk was bs for the media to bash dwight once again. You know they love it.

thanx for the info. Appreciate it.
It's a sign of relief at least they weren't braindead enough to include one of the core 3 or a first rounder.
