For future highlight clips, I also remembered Rafer's steal at the end of the Clippers game on 03/14 that swung the momentum in our favor permanently. Bill Worrell's commentary on that game was priceless!
I always tell my gf, and fellow rocket fan, I love how Head gets that look on his face after a big shot. You just love that intensity coming from your guys. Tracy gets that way around this time of year. Even Yao has shown it over the course of the season. I love this team.
It was a great video overall, but I think you may have used too many video effects. You definitely abused the slowing down effect. It was to the point where I felt like I was playing a video game with very inconsistent frames per second. I think you didn't want to play the videos at normal speed because it was too fast. A better idea may have been to set the speed of every highlight to say around 0.75X the real speed, and then slow each "special" highlight even further. It was still one hell of a video.
the directors cut is a success ,loved it. I also have a question,How do you convert quicktime videos,so that they are compatible with windows movie maker?
Ive got a suggestion CCR, Everytime there is a Clutch shot at the end of a game such as Luther heads agianst the Clippers, etc. You should add Bill worrells voice at that time cause everytime i see a game winning shot and hear his voice excited it gives me chills!
Point taken, but as I said to someone with a similar opinion, that's just how the video was always planned to be. Like the fight scenes in 300, which are very much herky jerky in style. Most of the clips were actually too slow, and some even had a hint of the fast-slow-fast effect already in them. You might notice that FSN does that on the replay every now and again if you look closely.
Ah, I see. I haven't seen 300. I should illegally download that sometime. I know that South Park was mocking the video effects in their most recent episode, so I should've thought about that.
It was way better than the one they have been using. It was so loud during the lineups, I couldn't hear the PA announcer AT ALL.
lol Stretching the truth now, aren't we? They did have the same exact theme as mine though. I should parlay this into a job in their media production department... They would obviously like my ideas
I was telling my friend on the way home, I think it's the best they've ever had. Even if I had all that high quality footage I doubt I could even come close to what they did. Completely badass.
