No one is talking about Harden's bad defense at the end of regulation?

look, this is what we got.. two very talented, smart, and unselfish guys in the back court. Both Lin and Harden will help out when they can on defense. they both recognized that Aldridge was torching us in the 4th, so they helped out but unfortunately it didn't turned out too well. you just gotta live with it. if they didn't helped out, and Aldridge continues making shots, you'd all be b****ing about no help defense. just be happy we got guys like Lin and Harden who plays plays unselfish ball on both ends of the court.

100% correct. You actually watched the game. Without being drunk or high (at least not too much).

Is this what clutchfans is usually like? Or is this just amplified this year because of Lin or whoever? I've been lurking but not posting on clutchfans since last year but didn't really follow the board before that.

Where is the comparison? - This is serious news! I haven't seen an actual comparison anywhere. Someones attempting to compare Harden to Lin?

    This just got serious.

Please quote and/or include links showing exactly where these comparisons are.

^ though in this comparison the girl on top obviously is hotter.

This. C'mon guys, its only one loss. An OT one at that. I hope you brace your self, there are more to follow. Even if the Rockets make it to the playoffs, they will still lose games.

Harden, Lin, Asik and Parsons are the core of this team. They are not going anywhere. Stop the hate.

Harden was gassed in the 4th quarter and honestly we cannot expect him to carry the team to a win every single night.

BTW, he was clearly fouled on that last shot of regulation. The game shouldn't have gone to OT.

Well said. It was a tired, inexperienced young team running on fumes, with perhaps some questionable decisions by their coach. What is really tiresome, however, is the sudden Lin/Harden "only" fans that have descended upon ClutchFans. Honest to god, I don't know about anyone else, but I'm beyond sick of this crap, this constant bickering back and forth, and after only 3 games. With most of it being done by members who haven't been here any time at all. If this endless crap keeps up, maybe Clutch needs to start giving people "timeouts" wholesale. Threads are getting nearly unreadable at times. One cannot make a critical comment about a player they like without immediately being assaulted by several whining chumps who are only here because of the player, not the team.

If refs called the foul on Harden on the last play. We wouldn't be having this discussion.

Lin's alley opp attempt, Lin gave the nod to Parsons like Parsons was open for a backdoor. But it seem like they both moved late and failed.

It's growing pain all young teams goes through.

    I'm out.

    Sums it up.

Almost all of the back and forth regarding this are between folks who have a join date of 2012. Most of the vets have seen it with many of the previous players we have had on the team and are trying to snuff it out before it gets going again. That's why you see animosity towards any _OF. So if you come back at legitimate criticisms(and yes there are illegitimate criticisms) for your favorite player by Rocket fans with angst or animosity you will be treated as such.....

I saw why the first responder thought it was a Lin v Harden post when I read the thing. Had the thread began and been completely about the play with Aldridge there would have not been any jump to the Lin V Harden stuff. The Aldridge thing was prefaced with the Lin and 1 so it was easy to think that that is what this was about, based on what else you see around the GARM.

That just goes to show that people are reading too much into things, especially the most self-righteous and contemptuous posters. The OP was not even talking about Lin but the first responder brings Lin up himself, then insinuates the OP is talking about Lin. Ugh.

That's so typical of what I've seen on this board. Many of the users who tout themselves as team-first fans are actually more Lin-obsessed than the LOFs -- even when Lin isn't mentioned, they are convinced it's all about Lin. Guess what? It's all in your own head. How is it even possible to have a discussion like this?

    NO everybody made mistakes.
After Lin made the and 1.

Asik gets rebound - instead of kicking it out/running time down or scoring the layup, he misses -> Asik's fault
Up 3, Mathews 3 other end -> bad defence, Harden's fault.
Morris can't contain Aldridge -> Morris' faulto
Lin comes up and throws an alley oop with time on the clock -> lin's fuqing fault
Harden lets time run to about only 4 seconds, meaning it has to be a 3 -> Harden's fault.

OT -> Lin overhelps on defense leaves Lillard open for 3. Lins fault.

Now everybody shut the fuq up.

Seriously. The OP doesn't mention Lin, yet a "veteran" poster assumes that OP is propping Lin up just because the OP is criticizing a player not named Lin. WTF is that. "Veteran" posters look at the OP join date and just have all these wild assumptions.
