I agree in theory that you dont need to burn a high round pick on QB. The problem for the Texans has been talent evaluation. Smith needs to go ASAP. He sucks at managing the cap too. The past 6 years have basically been a clinic on how not to run a football organization and we had some good players back then. It sucked having Manning and now Luck in our division but we should have the playoffs more than twice.
If this is the case then maybe they should address this. Make that D so strong that a QB will have to work real hard to screw things up.
