Ok guys, once again Dunta Robinson has been passed over for the Pro Bowl. It shouldn't matter that he's a rookie. I think he should have made the initial roster, but then when Chris McCallister backed out, they replaced him with Patrick Surtain. Now Surtain has backed out with a groin injury and they replace him with Nate Clements from the Buffalo Bills......um, Nate Clemens? You have got to be kidding me. The man deserves to be in the pro bowl. They should stop hating on the Texans and give their players their due.
Yeah it's irritating, it's got to be because he's a rookie. He'll be starting next year and for many years after that. Who decides the replacements anyway?
I think he was 6th in total voting for CB's in the AFC so thats my only guess why the NFL is passing him up. Nate Clements over Dunta is one bad joke.
i love dunta, but theyre numbers are not very diferent. same interceptions. dunta had more tackles. clements has more forced fumbles. can't say they didn't overlook dunta, but its not a huge oversight.
Hopefully all of this "lack of praise/attention" will only feul Dunta to have an even better season next year and make all those that did not vote for DROY or place him in the ProBowl rethink their past assumptions.
