to from having the HISTORICALLY WORST pass defending CB's (as a tandem) to adding the best corner in the game right now???

I'd trade anyone on the team for Asomugha except for Schaub, Johnson, Foster, Williams, Cushing, and Ryans.

But the irony is that they would probably ask for one of those players. Oh well...

I would think a #1 and #3 would get it done. That would instantly sure up our pass defense with Pollard at Safety and Asomugha at CB we would surely not be #31 in the league anymore with yards allowed. We need to make a move since Demeco is out now because as is there is no way we are a threat with the loss of Ryans. Adding a top CB would instantly put us in the discussions in my opinion.

I agree. I would throw in Slaton or Jacoby Jones as well if they are asking for players. We are in desperate need of a corner. I think we will be OK at LB but adding someone would be nice as well.

This would definitely help the team AND the fan base... Texans have pretty good fans considering a. they haven't been around that long and b. they haven't exactly done a whole lot. Therefore showing the fans a real effort to bolster the D will be appreciated by our fan base more than other teams.

Don't get me wrong, any team would love this player but our fans need it a little more

I know he hits people, I know he tells people off on national tv, I know he's quite good in run support, but why in the hell do people act like Bernard Pollard is anything other than below average in coverage?

not sure what the Texans would have to give up but at this point, with Ryans out and our atrocious secondary, the Texans have to make a move. If they don't, then it's a given that they're settling for mediocrity.

i'd try to bargain down to a #1 and #3, and space out the years those picks are, but it's not like we've been hitting homeruns with all our #1 picks

a proven player over another potential okoye or kareem jackson, yes please

I would not mind a 1st THIS year and a 2nd NEXT year. I don't think they will get two 1st rounders from anyone. I think a 1st and 2nd plus a player like Slaton, maybe Daniels is plenty.

    How 'bout Butler and a 2011 1st?

Brown is coming back after the bye, and the Raiders are in need of a competent LT, since their current LT is playing worst than Kwame f***ing Harris. I haven't been paying attention to Butler these past couple of weeks, but hopefully he's been playing good enough on tape to entice teams around the league.

I doubt we're going to trade Butler or even trade for a vet CB. Kubiak has already said he'll live and die by our CBs. I think he's stubborn enough to stick to that statement, even after the magical ride our CBs has been giving us in the first 6 games.

The last "big" trade we've made during the season was Vernard Morency for Samkon Gado. Trading for a big name player is all just wishful thinking.

They can say that all they want, I don't think in the history of the league has a CB gone for that price.

They can have two #1s...as long as they're top 25 protected :)

I think this is all we need to know. This is not a team that does something like this. As much as we want and know an addition is needed if this team wants to be serious about contending, I am 99% sure no trade will be made

    Two #1s for Nnamdi.

Considering the way our #1 picks have turned out.

    I say do it.

I wouldn't say our recent #1 picks have been to bad.

Getting two future perennial Pro-Bowlers in Williams/Cushing is pretty swell.

If you told me this year's first round pick was going to be the best in the game at his position, but the year after our pick would never see the field (total bust), i'd take that.
