RR is making a good point. People who want the ISIS/fear card will embrace a possible psychopath's statement as gospel. Others may want to look for more evidence. He had communicated with radicals. He had also pledged allegiance to other terrorist organizations that don't even tolerate one another, so it's not obvious how to take his pledges of allegiance. Seems we can agree he was at least ISIS sympathetic. But in the end, it may have been easier for him to digest a last minute "it's all about ISIS" than his internal possibly closeted demons. The whole truth died with him, another mass-murdering American citizen who was probably mentally ill. But I know, Bobby, you will know the pure truth more than anyone else because... Bobby.
If you take his own words along with what the FBI says about him and his internet browsing history where he consumed a ton of "jihadist propaganda", along with what his wife has said, along with what his father has said, along with the information that he attended an extremist mosque that has produced an Al Qaeda suicide bomber....I mean it paints a pretty clear picture of him as a radicalized Muslim. Could he have also been a closet homosexual? Of course, it could happen, but there is solid evidence of his actions being terror related and only rumors about his possible sexual orientation. Also, I still don't see how his potential sexual orientation is even relevant. He's not less of a terrorist if he was secretly gay.

This is what I don't understand. Dude hung out at that club before too and had drinks. He was abusive to his wife. She said he hasd bipolar disorder. I suppose he was another crazy shooter and this wasn't terrorism.
Update on the Walmart situation: http://www.weaselzippers.us/277323-breaking-active-shooter-situation-at-walmart-in-amarillo-texas/
If it' someone who pledges to a terrorist group then it's a terrorist attack. If anything else then just a crazy guy. Get it right.

You know how professionals establish motive? Investigations. I know it blows your mind but that's how it works.
