Coyotes arena vote results should be coming in soon. Even if it wins, the Phoenix lawsuit looks to delay things a while. I’m trying to find a link with early results, but not finding any.

 

First set of ballots are counted. Votes against the arena outnumber votes for by about 3000 votes

I was born in Edmonton, raised in Houston, and I’ve been living back in Edmonton since 2017. The hockey culture up here is insane and I love the Oilers.

Saw on twitter that the Zamboni is back in Toyota Center. The Coyotes are about to revive the Houston Aeros. Believe it.

 

I love NHL playoff hockey. I absolutely love NHL playoff overtime hockey. Last night's Carolina/Florida marathon was fantastic. 4 OTs. 2 1/3 games worth of hockey. And the game-winning shot came out of nowhere. Such fun.

Garbage ass Dallas, of course they lose in overtime

 

I want to root for Dallas being the closest team to Houston but it just feels dirty rooting for Dallas in any sport.

 

A team being 250 miles away is not a legitimate reason to root for them, especially when that team is in Dallas

Thats like rooting for Liverpool because, being on the west coast of England, it's the closest EPL team to Texas lol

 

To the contrary, Dallas always gives me a rooting interest for whoever is playing them on any given day. Go Knights!
