The user Ngadban is a friend of mine and according to him, he was banned by Contributing Member Bigtexxx for a dissenting opinion in regards to Bigtexxx's thread about the American military, which has since been locked for its lack of intelligence. Ngadban claims that "he had posted that he was tired of Bigtexxx's useless threads", a statement that was frankly, quite reasonable and not uncalled for. However, Bigtexxx allegedly abused his Contributing Membership rights to delete Ngadban's post and then promptly ban Ngadban's account. Ngadban has contacted the administrator with no results. As Ngadban's friend, I would like to ask that a moderator investigate the issue throughly and restore Ngadban's membership rights. I await your response. Thank you very much.
This is a serious allegation. I have never used my contributing member ban privileges for evil. I hope the moderators investigate this possible abuse by bigtexxx.
bigtexxx can't ban someone. He can report a post, which is reviewed by Clutch I think. It certainly doesn't lead to immediately being banned. He also can't delete posts. What makes you think we can ban people? He need to ask Clutch why he was banned, and request to have his ban lifted.
Marsarinian - let me tell you something. Yes, I did in fact ban Ngadban. He had pushed me to my limit and I was no longer going to put up with that. I have also banned B-Bob several times in the past (mostly for insubordination), but I have always let him back into the forum. I'm pretty reasonable, actually.

1. Bigtexxx just admitted he banned Ngadban. 2. I have not seen Ngadban's post, so I cannot vouch for him. I am merely presenting his case as it seemed curious to me. 3. I'm apologize for misspelling the word "thoroughly". 4. I am just asking that this whole case be brought onto the table and not under. If he was really banned, then maybe the original post and according reasons could be given out? Just inquiring for an explanation. 5. I'm not pointing fingers or anything, just trying to give my friend "trial by jury" rights of sorts.
dude, he was screwing with you. the only people with banning powers are admins and #1 but I'm jealous. I wish people think that they got banned because of me.
