i don't even know how the cameraman catches all these special moments, i'm just grateful that they do. on the game, it makes me sad that more players don't highstep anymore when they're about to score.
Seriously. They're always terrible. Teams should start forfeiting them and just take the tie until the league gives up.
Acquired Matt Ryan in a blockbuster trade in my fantasy league this week. Both he and Julio did some nice things for me last night
If you don't mind me asking, what did you give up for Ryan? Trying to gauge his trade value before and after last night's performance. Two rival owners have expressed interest in trading for him since week 1.
Thank god I didn't have to play against Matt Ryan or Julio this week. As far as the Bucs, it's quite possible that they go 0-16. Looking at their schedule, the only "winnable" games would be next week against Pittsburgh (though that's away), Cleveland in Week 8 (again, away), and Washington in Week 10 (also away). I wonder how long Lovie Smith will last.
Was Ryan's line all that? Behemoth Ryan performance = regular day for Manning. I've owned Ryan a lot, that guy loves not going over 300 yards.
I rechecked again. The guy that has Ryan also has SJax too so yea he got 40+ from those two. And yea Ryan's night was typical Manning performance.
I was responding on the fantasy comment. Ryan was a fantasy dud last year but solid the year before. He relies on his weapons, unlike Brady/Brees/Rodgers/Manning -- he's not turning Julian Edelman or Austin Collie into weapons.
Sure - but if you're arguing he doesn't go over 300 yards much, then that has to be in comparison to others. If he's in the top 5 in yardage, he's doing it more than most of the other options.
This year? Or last year? Last year he wasn't that great in fantasy regardless of yardage. At 300 yards you get +5 in a lot of leagues. So 299X16 is great consistency but you miss out on bonus points. I think we're just having a misunderstanding, fantasy vs. real life. I referenced the fantasy remark in my response.
