Russell Wilson and Kaepernick are just fine with their running. You have to be a smart running QB. Manziel/RG3/etc. are the ones who aren't smart with it. Mariota, I believe, is smart.
Did Philbin save his job this week? Didn't watch the game but 23 points in the 4th must've put some faith in Philbin or Lazor.
Kaepernick is 6'4". Manziel is 5'11". That's a big issue. Wilson isn't huge but he's movement is quicker and shaper runs. Manziel had a lot of mobility that relied on getting around guys and bumping off defensive players. That isn't something you could do in the NFL and this only confirms what his draft critics was saying. Pity, I think the guy is hilarious and fun to watch.
