This is a well known fact. The Bears secondary can not cover anyone...The Chi town faithful just expected them to compete... Now lets see if they can catch up...

D has been bad all season but Jesus that was the worse performance I've seen out of them all year. They'd been making small strides in previous games but this was a massive step back. Tucker needs to be fired at the end of the year, simple tackling is lacking. People going on about Cutler being at fault didn't watch the game, he didn't play very well but that beating was on the D and Special Teams digging them into a massive hole. Thankful it'll probably be Matt Flynn for the Pack with Lacey and Matthews hurting, should be a great cure all for the Bears.
It was an equally bad performance by the O and the D. In the first 3 possessions, Philly scored 3 TDs. But Chicago went 3&out, 3&out, and 4&out. So both their O and D were bad there. But the next 4 possessions, Philly had 3 punts and a FG. Chicago, meanwhile, had 2 punts, a FG and a safety. So that middle part of the game, the defense was reasonably decent and tried to give the offense a little bit of a chance. And then all hell broke loose the rest of the way.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Cowboys QB Tony Romo has been ruled out the rest of the season due to his back injury, per league source.</p>— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) <a href="https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/statuses/415230451582656512">December 23, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Screw that. I say he has to play regardless. I don't care if he's in a hospital bed. Wheel him out there.
Kyle Orton is our secret weapon. You can't game plan for him because he hasn't been on tape for quite some time. LOL
I'm listening to sports radio here in DFW and Jason Garrett press conference is coming up in a few minutes. Let's see what he says.
I'm not saying anyone is blameless, I was just pointing out the idiocy of some fans jumping on the anti Cutler bandwagon as if he were the sole reason they lost.
They were saying Orton is the guy who was benched for Tim Tebow. I think the Cowboys will be bringing in Tim Tebow. Ground control to Tim Tebow!
Garrett says Romo's status is day-by-day and will be evaluated each day after treatment. They have said he was NOT ruled out for the game. So, early reports have to be FALSE! Adam Schefter is a liar or his source is. That's what happens when you don't wait to confirm with the team.
Chris Mortensen @mortreport 2m Tony Romo diagnosed with herniated disc. Surgery necessary, per sources Details
No mention of herniated disc by Garrett. Is saying they will be looking to sign another QB for the game regardless just in case. Edit: The media people at the news conference seem confused. Garrett's official response is Romo is day-by-day, is being treated (called it rehab), and will be evaluated daily going forward. So, it sounds like it's all up in the air but I'm sure Romo will probably play if it is his call unless overruled.
someone flat out asked Garrett if "he is purposefully withholding that Romo is actually out?". Garrett's response is "that would be a hypothetical...he is day-by-day". Then, another media member says "so...Romo hasn't been ruled out medically?". Garrett's response is "that is correct". Kyle Orton will be taking the snaps in practice starting Wednesday until Romo is ready to go. a player in the locker room said he was told Romo was out...according to Jesse Holley who spoke with him (a former Cowboys player). also, speculation is Romo could play even if it is a herniated disc depending on the situation. sounds like a bunch of bull. i don't expect him to play.
