In garbage time of their game against Tampa Bay, Robert Quinn set the St. Louis Rams single-season sacks record with 18. He will likely end up getting overlooked because of the team he plays for, but his name should very much be in the running for Defensive POY.
Another year...another complete failure by my team in the championship... 3 years in a row now. I wish I had the spine to quit, but the pain hurts so good every time...
Dang it. I picked up Buffalo's D a few weeks ago seeing that Miami's O-line sucks and Buffalo can get sacks. They play bad a few games and I decide to stick with KC this week - stupid, stupid, stupid.
It's kind of ironic that Washington went for the 2 point conversion and lost last week. This game...they didn't go for the 2 point conversion when it was 14-12 after they scored a TD or on a TD after. Then, those lose by a point. That type of luck is usually reserved for the cowboys. Lol.
Lot of people are raving about Carolina right now.I still don't see them being a threat to Seattle in the playoffs.
I don't think that's irony. They went for two to win the game. It was too early in the game to be up by just a fg. They eventually made it a 9 pt lead, which is two scores. It was the right call. Garrett and romo still suck.
Agreed, but it was a great win for them today after things were looking very grim. The final TD drive was something to behold considering they went 3-and-out the prior 4 possessions. It's one of those "caught up in the moment" things. They started the season 0-2, 1-3. I thought they were dead and gone and Rivera would be fired by mid-season. Now they can clinch the #2 seed by winning next week.
JB made a good comment after the Cowboys game: look at the NFC's top 3 seeds: Seattle, Carolina, SF. The top 3 defenses.
Yeah I was shocked they scored on that last drive. Once they got in New Orleans territory I was expecting overtime. Asbolutely a terrible loss for New Orleans. A lot of folks say Seattle is a different team on the road but this Saints team is the team that is truly a different team on the road.
The BAL - NE game is getting really annoying to listen to. Rowdy fans are rowdy fans, but BAL's fans are so classless.
Sean peyton has regressed as a coach, when he came into the league he was a rebel and unpredictable, he is conservative now and its cost him games this year, going three runs and punt st the end of game is Kubiakish and deserves the loss.
