Good deal, but Red Zone Channel is all I need, thank goodness.

 

I ordered on Sunday. Finally I can watch Raiders games.

After having both Red Zone and Sunday Ticket for several seasons, I do prefer Red Zone. I can see how Sunday Ticket would be preferred though if you're not in the local market of a terrible team like the Raiders.

 

Note that it comes with NFL Sunday Ticket if you are "unable to receive DirecTV service". It depends how they define that, but technically, most of us do live in areas that could get DirecTV, so I'm a little wary. I'd buy this if I knew in advance what their specific policy will be.

 

Are texans games blacked out? This could come in hand while at work.

 

I have a question for those with who've bought Sunday ticket before. I've only had the experience when Directv offered week 1 free last year. But every game airing was a 4.5 hour block, and the afternoon games weren't recordable because they're all on different channels. So unless you're watching the games live you're not gonna be able to make the most use of it right?

This is a hell of a deal. And I can't get DirecTV where I live because of trees. So sounds like a win win situation.

Red Zone is like crack to me during Football season. I watch from noon until the TD highlight reel. This is a great damn deal if I was out of market to see the Texans though.

I'm not sure I follow. You're able to record multiple shows at once, so I don't understand why you couldn't be watching a game on 1 channel and recording games on the other?

Now I can have RedZone (NFL Network version) with my DirecTV!

 

Me too (by other means though) . Have access to it, watching it on my tablet now. Getting both channels for free is great.

 

FYI, I read that your local team will still be blacked out in this deal...

Idunno if it really matters since you can just get an antenna and watch it locally...

 

FYI, if anyone is still wary of this deal, an Amazon employee posted in the comments that you will be able to redeem this deal without DTV regardless of availability or not.
