Cowboys re-signed Spencer. If he can regain his form and cowboys draft some defensive players that can step up and in, there's no reason to believe the D will be as bad as the last two seasons if some guys can stay healthy. Our offense is pretty much set with a few exceptions. I guess we will see. Romo needs to be healthy, too. Hard to believe the D can get worse but the Cowboys can always outdo themselves and entertain with how bad they can screw up yet again.
I'm curious about Richard Shernan contract , how much will the Hawks have to spend to keep him considering he is the best CB in the league. He wants to be paid like it.
Richard Sherman the best corner in the NFL? Debatable. If you give me a choice between Darrelle Revis and Sherman, I take Revis. Patrick Peterson is also in that discussion. Seattle will have to overpay to keep him, but Sherman isn't an idiot. He knows that he needs to stay in Seattle to keep playing like an elite corner, so he'll probably take a few million less than another team would offer him to stay put. Something in the range of 9-10 million/year for 5 years. On the Seattle subject, it's great for them that they've got that safety duo of Chancellor and Thomas locked up. Two elite players, both still young. If I'm a CB prospect in this year's draft, I hope like heck that Seattle drafts me. The chance to play with that pass rush in front and those two sledgehammers behind me is just too juicy.
I am not a fan of the Seahawks by any means , but I really appreciate physical defense that also play with a swagger . Ravens have had that title when Ray Lewis was drafted. Legion of Boom is a great nickname , it is definitely debatable between Sherman , Revis , P Peterson.
