WTF!?!?!? I mean, the gang affiliations must have been SERIOUS or they didn't want a repeat of the Hernandez situation or some combination of that. Man, he's a speedster and a playmaker and the former is something you just cannot teach. I hope Maclin is fully healed because I think Jackson spread the field in a way that helped make McCoy, Cooper and others had the seasons they had last year.

The Cowboys are a perfect fit. lol. We've had plenty of gangsta wannabes and criminals. Imagine Dez Bryant and Desean Jackson. That's pretty lethal. Get er done Jerry. Replace Miles with him.
The Raiders will likely to be interested because they have cap room and a need at the position, but I see a team like Carolina who is desperate for a WR jumping on him first. I do find it a little coincidental that this supposed gang affiliation stuff leaked right before they decided to cut him outright. Looks like the Eagles leaked it to do preemptive damage control.
Chiefs also reached out to his agent. Andy Reid obviously knows him. Would be a huge boost to their offense.
Seems like Mike Vick was lobbying for him all along. I can definitely see someone like the Panthers or the Chiefs nabbing him.
He obviously caused problems in the locker room and let's be honest, they didn't want to pay the guy. They cut him to cut him. Riley Cooper gets an extension, boo hoo. Vick killed dogs, they let him play.
MJD, shaub and maybe desean jackson? Raiders sound like they have a great off season, not including the draft.
Pretty much. A bunch of 30+ year olds on 2 year deals. Lamarr Woodley, Justin Tuck, Tarrell Brown, James Jones, Antonio Smith, Austin Howard, Donald Penn, Matt Schaub, MJD. Reggie bringing in a bunch of proven vets to help develop the young guys. Change the culture.
I thought Raiders would be a good fit but forgot Schaub is there. DeSean's deep threat would be wasted with the noodle arm.
Same could be said about Alex Smith. I'd rather the Raiders draft Andre Johnson Jr. aka Slammin Sammy Watkins.
Or there is more to the alleged "gang association" than meets the eye. Eagles gave up a stud like DeSean Jackson for nothing after his best season. It will be very interesting to see what he gets in the open market.
