At least in the Superbowl now, it'll be an even game. They were winning that game against Indy regardless of deflated balls or not.

This won't sit well with Bob McNair. He'll probably call up Smith and O'Brien via conference call and pray for the Patriots.

    This is inexcusable.

So the question now is what draft picks will the Pats lose?

Belichick probably has to get some suspension time for this next season, I don't think a fine and/or taking away a pick is really enough.

Wow. 11 footballs and 2 lbs is a lot. And I think it underscores why the Colts were able to notice the difference enough to report it. Very interesting. That's a lot of evidence, making you wonder how long they've been doing this for bad weather games. I think if the Colts knew. It means the Patriots players knew too.

Pats were the favorites, and playing at home. Why the hell would you do this?

And the fact that they lied and laughed when questioned showed they had no remorse.

No respect for that organization all.

I imagine the 12th was used for kicking.

You can go into what ifs now.

Was it the ball that the Colts received on the kick off and caused to fumble? They had 2 big drops in the first drive.

    Colts wouldn't have won regardless.

But the constant cheating from this organization is getting crazy. They probably have done other things that weren't caught; you can't put it past them.

Like Payton, Bellick must be suspended for some games, or longer. And the organization has to pay a hefty fine.

Now the Ravens players claim some of their balls were deflated also.

If a Belichick suspension is involved (VERY doubtful), it would have to be effective immediately and ban him from Super Bowl preparation and participation. Waiting until next season would make it a complete joke. The NFL does not want that.

More likely the Pats will be fined and maybe lose a draft pick. Nobody important in the organization will be singled out unless there is a "smoking gun".

He is a multiple offender. The punishment was harsh the first time and he still didn't learn. He takes craps on the rules and doesn't care because he has a fat contract.

I don't understand the idol worship for this guy. He treats the media like crap and cheats.

Assuming this turns out to be true...

Regardless of how the game turns out, this franchise has officially become tainted with their own habitually reckless and stupid behavior.

I hope the NFL makes an example of them this time. But I'm not holding my breath.

So were they under inflated for both teams?

    How didn't the refs notice?

No because each team provides their own 12 game balls. And then the home team provides an additional 12 as a backup. Although, I don't know if they really checked the 12 from Indy.
