I feel like the 2nd round is really the new first round. Round 1 is all hype and fluff and 2-3 players already know where they're going (and so do the fans). They should do the 2nd round first next year. Maybe go 2,3,1 - like Friends-filler-Seinfeld.
I wanted to give a better example, but off the top of my head, Rodgers and guys where character issues made them slide (i.e. Randy Moss).
I'd take him as a backup, especially on a team with a strong defense and running game like the Ravens (no idea who the backup is).
Ingram didn't slide because he got caught smoking dope or ****ting in somebody's dorm room. He slid because he's hype.
Apparently someone prank called WR Mohamad Sanu and told him he was being selected as a 1st round pick. Mohamad Sanu prank-called in first round of 2012 NFL Draft By Josh Katzowitz | NFL Blogger In our 2012 NFL Draft first round winners and losers post early Friday morning, I didn't mention the story of Rutgers receiver Mohamad Sanu. But man, he had a brutal Thursday night as he waited/hoped to be called. And he did get a phone call. Just not the one he wanted. The person on the other end of the phone said he was with the Bengals and that they were selecting him with the No. 27 pick. Predictably, Sanu lit up with joy. The problem, though, was that the Bengals weren't calling Sanu. No NFL team was. Instead, it was a prank-call, and it worked. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/eye-on-football/18859683/mohamad-sanu-prankcalled-in-first-round-of-2012-nfl-draft
Ravens signed Curtis Painter this offseason. (I assume as backup) I'd certainly take McCoy over perma-injured Leftwich.
HAHAHA WHAT A SUCKA...Oh well guess a couple millions dollars won't make that prank call hurt as much...
