Seems like it. some guys are better coordinators than HC so it can definitely happen in reverse as well. that said it’s probably a 7-3 game but for Harbaughs call to go for it on 4th and 1... and the Ravens aren’t playing well. if Texans can pull it off tomorrow (unlikely) they have to face an extremely dialed in Titans or Ravens team that will have shaken off the rust in the 2nd half...
Jackson just can't make the throws needed from a modern QB -- tight spirals and outside the numbers. His throws either wobble or are off trajectory. His regular season numbers were great throwing on the run and to his tight ends. Titans have taken that away and will force him to make the difficult throws against zone where timing and tight windows are key.
Will the Texans have a divisional opponent advance farther in the playoffs after winning the division two years in a row ??
Things probably couldn’t have gone any better for the Titans. They need to run Henry more and get at least 10 more points...preferably 14 to have a good chance at this.
I like how the Titans shut up that loud crowd really early in the game. Whew. One more half to go. Go Titans!
Yes, I have a feeling that 3rd quarter gassing out the defense is coming from Henry. He's such a late game beast. So far he's had one huge run, but he's still getting 5.1 YPC and the Titans have shortened the length of the game by limiting time and possessions for the Ravens.
balt -10 2nd half. balt with the ball to start, only being down 1 possession even though they played as bad as they could
Almost every replay shows Jackson's throws just wobble a bit and sail on him. He can't throw a spiral consistently.
Jackson is such a nightmare to defend against. It's like facing Barry Sanders but only if Barry also was a decent to good passer.
Baltimore should have just taken the 3, they had momentum building and that stop on 4th may have just been the game.
