That bs penalty by TB in the closing seconds was one of the worst gambling moments of my life. I had a 5 team parlay with TB on the money line, and that was the last thing that had to hit. Like a kick to the junk.
Finally had some luck come my way. I took NE -3 in the 1st quarter. Was worried that Jets TD was gonna stand. I think 1st quarter bets could be a good play all season.
as close to a sure thing as there is this weekend.... Jags @ Raiders. Jags couldn't put up not a 1 offensive point against the Chiefs in their opener. Now they travel to the west coast to try and win at Oakland. Oakland money line is -245. bet $70 to win $29,50.
First game of the season notwithstanding because players are fresh, and they've had all off-season to prepare for that game. Starting from now on though, Thursday night games are generally going to be clunkers because of the short week, and players not getting any time to heal up and prepare.
I'll take Atlanta (-5.5) over STL Det vs Az the under (48) I would take Oakland over Jax...but Henne is just usually awful as compared to the always awful Gabbert.
Geez man was 3/4 on my teaser bet heading into the Sunday Night Game: GB -1, ATL -0.5, DAL +9 and SF +8.5 Of course SF craps the bed and ruins my winning teaser
All my overs covered including Bills/Panthers, Titans/Texans, and Falcons/Rams. Also, Denver and the Raiders covered for me. Drew Brees is a freaking idiot. 4th qtr up 13-7, 3rd and 7 in fg range and throws a pick 6 with no Saints receiver anywhere within 15 yards. If he just throws it away, they kick the fg and are up 16-7 covering -3.5 easily instead of being sown 14-13. Also lost my Sunday nite pick. What happened to the Niners offense? Still, a good Sunday following a good Saturday. My friend was 12 for 12 on early Sunday games. Fantastic day for him.
