There was some buzz that Leonard Williams was valued more by the media than the actual teams. I really like Williams, but from what I've read this isn't terribly surprising.
Titans are a contender for Division Title now. Only a few months ago Mariota was the guaranteed #1 pick. There was really no reason for him to fall below Winston other than he played a great Defense w/o his primary WR's in the championship game.
If college defenses were able to exploit his weaknesses, NFL defenses are going to have a field day. He may turn out just fine... but he is far from a finished product.
nothing similar between the two besides skin color and where they were drafted... wrong about cam and bridgewater, dont make it 3 in a row winston is the best qb prospect since luck
trust me mariota will be a bust... he is a 1 read and run qb.. jj watt will destroy this kid.. mel kiper said 14 of the past 15 qbs to win the superbowl were POCKET PASSERS... russell wilson was an anamoly and i agree
To be fair, outside of Vince Young and a few other guys, some college defenses confused just about every QB in history. Peyton Manning was as smart as anyone and could never figure out Florida. Stanford's really the only defense that really messed with Mariota. Ohio State did too in the title game, but he was missing his top 3 (?) receivers, which makes it a bit harder to judge - especially for a precision timing offense.
maybe the t*** would trade us selfiberger. I liked how he stood in the pocket and delivered while getting obliterated. a lot of offenses are precision timing nowadays so Mariota will figure it out but I'm still not scared of the titans. they can't stop a nose bleed.
I thought that was a bit low to ask the dude how it felt being drafted in light of his brother being dead. I realize ESPN loves these storylines and all, but I don't like it.
It'd be a great incentive for Watt, knowing that if MM goes down, he'd get the green light on Mettenberger again.
