I would like to know the one person you think will be the new head coach of the Houston Texans. Mine is...... Dan Reeves
I'd be pretty shocked if it was Dan Reeves, since again yesterday McNair said that Reeves is not being considered for the position. My guess: Kubiak My hope is that it's not Reeves or Wade Phillips.
I think Kubiak. If he can bring that zone blocking from Denver to the Texans with Bush, that would be awesome. Part of me dreams that we get Mike Martz, sign T.O, get Reggie Bush. Carr=Kurt Warner (superbowl version) Bush=Marshall Faulk Andre Johnson=Bruce TO=Holt
I would be shocked too, but my gut is telling me that Dan Reeves is positioning himself to take over as head coach. I hope I'm wrong.
Since the Texans offense is so bad, I say they bring back Jerry Glanville and revitalize the run and shoot...
My preference is Gary Kubiak or Jerry Gray, both of whom IMHO will make great NFL head coaches. But my gut is still telling me Dan Reeves.
Well no one has yet to name a better coach than DOm Capers. How sad. I would be happy with Jimmy Johnson or Parcells or someone of equal caliber. Other than that we are going to take a step down. The problem has been the general manager and horrible assistant coaches.
Out of curiosity, what are you basing that on? I can understand the criticism of Casserly, I'm in full agreeance. But saying it's all the assistant coaches and not Dom...how could you possibly make that determination? Also, didn't Dom pick out the assistant coaches? Does he not get some blame for that?
Kubiak The Chronicle said that McNair only hired Reeves for consulting and would like to utilize our offensive talent.
Kubiak would be my choice and the combination of he and Reggie Bush instantly improves our offense 300%.
Hmm...I thought June Jones was the offensive coordinator for those Jerry Glanville teams. I can't remember though.... As for Dom, his only successful season came when he was practically given a good team by that bogus expansion system when Carolina and Jacksonville came into the league. He goes virtually ignored for three years until another expansion team called him. He's much more suited as a defensive coordinator than a head coach.
