I guess you don't watch defense or how he stands around like he's playing at LA fitness. I love Harden but he is lazy on defense

If you actually watched the games and saw how many times he's called for an isolation play during the course of the season, there's no way you'd call him unselfish. He finally has a point guard on the team that can handle the ball and he still insists on bringing the ball up. Harden is selfish this year and he wasn't last year. It's the difference in our record.

The only thing that is ****ing hilarious is the idea of getting rid of Harden. He'll either adjust or get used to losing.

It's good that you pointed out his rebounding in the title, but bad that you didn't harp on it more in the thread. His rebounding improvement isn't being mentioned much.

Hardens transition defence has gone beyond bad to "traffic cone" quality. There is absolutely no excuse for this and no other reason besides him being LAZY or even worse..not caring for winning. I rather take lazy over that.

Harden shot poorly. Did other things well with his assist and rebounding. His defense wasn't that bad. Afflalo were making some difficult turn around shots. And most importantly for Harden, he had only 2 TOs.

This isn't one of his infamous drunk game. We might see more of this type of games when he's not shooting well since there is absolutely much less space for him to operate inside with Howard and Capella.

I don't mind anything Harden does offensively except the all-or-nothing passes through traffic. He can iso because he's great at it. It's the coach's job to implement offensive philosophy and run plays.

Add T.Jones to that mix too. Every time Capela went out Jones came in and lost Prozingas. Jones is a liability every game we play. Harden's defense is beyond pathetic

Exaggerate much? Many times? He shot 7 three pointers last night and Porzingas was only guarding him on two of them. On both of those, Porzingas was backing off of him. On the first one there were 3 defenders in the paint area. On the second there are 4 defenders in the paint area. There was nothing wrong with either of those two shots except that he didn't make them.

Here's the video of every 3 pointer that Harden attempted last night.

And the second one, Harden actually drove at Porzingas, first, then dribbled back.

but he does turn the ball over a lot. just not last night.

Here's a link to Hollinger's stats for the season: http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/hollinger/statistics/_/sort/usageRate

Harden is 3rd in the NBA in usage and most of his advanced stats look ok. However, his AST/TO ratio is 1.35 which is pretty poor for a "play maker". We say he's our de facto PG but the real PG's on that list have much better ratios with similar usage. It's a mess. I get that he must be tired of passing to poor shooting teammates but he can't win sh_t by himself. He needs to start distributing and hope the shooting picks up.

We need a REAL coach with REAL plays that are WELL executed. And we haven't had that since Adelman.
