    Considering these guys are running, and have been for a while, wouldn't they be more likely to bleed out? Could end up making things a lot worse.

    Terrible stuff. I wonder if it's going to be another mentally ill person or a terrorist attack.

    Based on the video it appears the injuries where suffered by the pedestrians and not the runners.

    Boston Police are saying only 2 dead...not 12 as is being reported elsewhere.

    the 2 dead number came directly from Boston Police Dept....obviously and sadly that's subject to change

    Just heard that my brother in law is ok. He was at the marathon as a spectator. Said he is walking near fenway park at the moment, trying to get out of the city. Said it's pretty scary and chaotic at the moment.

    News is showing 2 blasts....about a half a block apart. Casualties seem to be specators as opposed to runners.
