Newly crowned Miss Teen USA is from Tomball...and used to drop the "N" bomb pretty casually

This whole story gets a "meh" from me. I'm sure a whole bunch of white teenagers all over the country use the n-word (particularly the "ni--a" form...which means different things in different contexts) all the time these days. Especially those who listen to hip-hop and rap music (and a LOT of white kids do that). Heck, some of 'em likely even say it around their black friends...and those black friends probably don't give a damn because they grasped the context and harmless intent. Most teenagers are ignorant (they're kids, after all) but only a few of them are legitimate dolts.

Ignorance can be rectified with a bit of education, and this situation is a good opportunity for that. Miss Teen USA will likely learn from this and be fine in the long run. I doubt she is racist in a hateful sense.

    ^^^this^^^

Looks like she wasn't using it in a mean sense at all. She's probably already figured out that its not an appropriate word and no longer using it at all. I really don't understand the concept of wanting to ruin the rest of her life over this. Thats as bad as wanting to ruin a 12yr olds life over shoplifting candy from a store.

Bros, how did she use it though? with an A? if so, that's showing respek or with a hard R, that's awkward and racist.

Reppin for all my essays. Vatos Locos for life homes.

I think Twitter should only be used to keep up with Rockets news, bash OKC and GSW fans, and keep up with tech news. That's what I use it for.
