New York Times: Hillary Clinton illegally used private email for all State Dept. business

To be clear, the stated reason for McCabe's firing was because McCabe "lacked candor" on four occasions with internal investigators when discussing a Wall Street Journal article about the FBI's Clinton Foundation investigation. Since then, the IG has referred the report to the Justice Department for possible criminal charges concerning lying to investigators.

In addition, McCabe is the former Deputy Director of the FBI and the person (starting in February 2016) placed in charge of the Clinton E-mail investigation. His wife was also a recipient of campaign funding from the Clinton ally Terry McAuliffe just 3 months prior...a potential conflict of interest.

Now, you might not find the above to be a "big deal", but when someone that high up in the FBI is being considered for Federal Charges, many others would consider that a "big deal"....to say NOTHING of the huge potential of conflict of interest in running the investigation of Clinton in the first place.

Call me crazy...

You have to realize that our friends on the fringe left are so caught up in Trump Derangement Syndrome that the ONLY thing they would consider a big deal is if Trump got 2 scoops of ice cream instead of 1. You aren't going to get them to care about crimes committed by those in the FBI or the outright corruption involved with letting Hillary walk.

You just have to understand the mindset of these kinds of people.

Though this one will have criminals charges, it's the investigation into fisa process that lands in a few months that will probably be more fun. Though this will be fun too.

I think it was a cheap shot. He used "Obama's DOJ" to bring in Obama. You could do the same with any sitting President

And lets be honest. If Clinton had been charged with a crime, the President could/probably would have been called as a potential witness seeing as he was receiving and sending emails to the illegal server in question.

Why is this still news? This ranks up there with Bengahzi and the Mueller investigation.

 

The right loves to make up fake scandals to pin on Clinton like Benghazi - doesn't matter that a Republican investigation cleared her of any wrongdoing.

 

I think this one is legit, though it's not really high on materiality. We do seem to have a problem with high officials trying to hide how they conduct the people's work. If they succeed, it'll breed corruption. So I'd be happy to make an example of Hillary Clinton, Condi Rice, Colin Powell and anyone else we know of that circumvented the system.

 

Democrats have put Hillary in the rear view mirror. Republicans? They love to hate her. They can't help themselves. It's quite weird.
