It is funny that the Astros ops is already down 32 points. They came out of the gate at 816 ( -32 ). If the code breaker is still alive, it has some work to do today. Springer is at 400 ( -574 )
Absolutely no offense, quite the opposite actually, but your picture is the perfect avatar for your posting personality lol. It's spot on.
***Talks about outliers and then uses a 1 game sample size to single out the team and George Springer (after a game in which we scored 8 runs).*** There is absolutely no doubt this has devolved into full troll mode.
I wish we could go back to whining about Manfred and the Yankees and hypocrisy instead of watching someone ignore statistics that prove trash can banging didn't help while pointing at one game of sample size to gloat about how his favorite team, in his estimation, can't hit without said trash cans. Might need to break out the ignore button.
I broke it out a while ago. Has nothing to do with his opinion, but I felt it was just turning into more a trolling job than him actually believing what he was saying.
You even forgot the part where they scored 8 then 7 runs in those games and won by margins of 6 and 5.
Ops talks. You must listen. It takes rounds one and two. Playing clean just feels better, doesn't it? It really does.
Team ops bobrek. Team ops. Springer wasn't the only one who cheated. Rounds one, and round two. We're going to do it clean. Springer is clean this year.
OPS talks? Did the world revert back to stats that were meaningful in 2010? This is how ridiculous your argument is - Minnesota had a team OPS over 100 points higher last year than they did in 2018... were they using “code breaker”? The Red Sox currently have an almost 1100 OPS. That’s roughly 300 points higher than their preceding 3 seasons. The Cardinals, Reds and Dodgers are all over 900... none of that means squat.
interesting, So you're saying only the Astros dropped off so far with the exact same lineup. I'll take a look at that. It makes sense with the story. I would have expected the Yankees to have fallen too though. Too early to really take seriously though. team OPS is just providing clues at this point, but ops has been a big deal for a long time now so keep and eye on it, seriously.
Needs more line graphs to hit the CF hall of fame of “is he a brilliant troll or a complete moron?” debate
The most embarrassing part of this ordeal were Astros fans acting like they had been caught corking bats or shooting steroids and the title was undeserved. Meanwhile, in Boston, fans of the Patriots and Red Sox are still laughing at what they can get away with that actually equates to cheating (things other teams do not do).
