Milo said on the 10th inning show last night, its for new corporate sponsors that are sponsoring a new little league field program.

So for this season it will have a good purpose, then next year and beyond it will be there to make money!

Pretty much. I hope that MMP doesn't start looking like a minor league park with all the ads. Oh, and PLEASE get rid those Chick-fil-A cows on the foul poles. That has to be about the dumbest sheet ever, lol.

That is complete trash. It cheapens an otherwise nice stadium with too much advertising and junks up the left field area. To make matters worse, there's horrible "cognitive strain" in reading it, due to the 12 small rectangles, each with small text in them.

Plus, of course, it partially blocks the view of the skyline and hides the train.

Seriously, who could possibly think this was a good idea?

That is a question you can ask Luhnow at your lunch.

Completely agree. Looks terrible, blocks an otherwise great view, and it looks terrible.

Its ridiculously bad. While they're at it, they might as well place an add on each glass panel of the roof.

It actually has the ability to make MMP an UGLY park... that's how bad it is. Just awful. Plenty of other spaces (notably in high RF) tha they could have exploited. Just bad.

The Astro Dome looked like the yellow pages towards the end I knew it was a matter of time before MMP looked liked that as well

So the train might be gone...

    http://blog.chron.com/ultimateastros/2012/06/27/astros-to-consider-removing-train-from-minute-maid-park/

I actually like the train and even Tal's Hill. Sure they may be a bit gimmicky, but I think they provide a nice (but not gaudy) uniqueness to the stadium. But if you're gonna get rid of anything, get rid of the hill and at least keep the train. Course now you probably can't even see it with those new billboards.

There's goes the nice view of the skyline.

I like the train. Love when it screams after a HR.

Hate the face that BLOCKS the view.

Crane's next move: ban singing "Deep in the Heart of Texas" during the 7th inning stretch.
