Hell yeah! That's what im talkin about! Dayum, his arms are noticably thicker. Impressive for the vegetarian diet Anthony Falsones has him on. Maybe I should start eatin' more veggies. :D The red wristband from his girlfriend is a good gauge of his progress. Remember when he first arrived, it would slide almost to his elbow? Now, it looks like the furthest it will go is 1/3rd of his forearm. Notice the new Rocket's LOGO on his shirt?

Nice Pics. Thanks man! Without a doubt Yao does looks thicker and stronger. I'm hoping this increases his toughness in the middle and bumps up his rebounding average 2 to 3 points.

What? My arms look like that. A profession athlete needs arms like

    Visible biceps my friend.

Your arms aren't attached to a 7'5" frame, MY FRIEND. If I understand you correctly, you are saying it is a necessisity for Yao to have striations in his arms to appear like a "professional athlete" in your eyes. Who gives a rat's ass! This isn't a bodybuilding competition, buddy! Does Shaq have all this definition you speak of? Go pleasure yourself to a pic of David Robinson, since that is your ideal body type you've been dreaming of.

    Don't be jealous, baby! :D

I'd like to see his new arms next to his arms last year. I wonder if and how much he's bulked up.

Here's a pic for comparison. It was taken Nov of 2002.

Harder to notice muscles on longer arms.. just because their not visible doesn't mean he isn't as physically strong.. but he's a reasonable distance off how big the team needs him

He's definitely strong enough now in the upper body I think. Anymore would severely hamper his game.

I think all he has to do now is get toned up, and lose a little body fat. Once he does that, he'll be in premium physical condition.

His neck is definitely bigger...but he's got a long way to go to reach this...

Is it just me or does Yao's face/neck look significantly chubbier? That's not a sign of muscle, that's a sign of fat. I'm worried about the quickness he may have lost this offseason.

he had strawberry waffles this morning with non-fat maple syrup,3 scrambled eggs and a bowl of congee with some duck in it. I cant see what he's drinking because his arm is in the way of the spycam.

ideally, though, i dont mind him losing his quickness if he can overpower his opponents, he'll still be faster than most of them. id rather him be able to post his opponents up than run past them. big ass will also help to box out and get boards.

Don't forget he's still very young. By the time he's 25-27, he should be a beast.
